Running good so faar

Hello everyone!

So this is my third entry and im here with a short update about my ongoings in poker. Its going better! I have been battleing with some downswings and that has been tough, but finally today I managed to get little heater session which erased my losses of the day and added around 2 buyins as well. I have been 6tableing NL10 6max on pokerstars and everything have worked out really well for me. Before I dident like my PTR stats for NL 5 so i decided to throw in a session of 16 tables NL5 6max, but that went horrible wrong, everytime i had aces everyone would fold, everytime i flopped a set someone would river a flush and everytime i had QQ people had KK or AA. Downswings can be brutal, but they are even more brutal when you are 16tableing.

So I totally skipped playing so many tables and is now just doing 6 tables which feels really smooth - now I have still time to see timing tells, I can remember people I play against, and I can pick spots where bluffs will work. The only thing I need to do now is put in more volume as I really wanna make goldstar this month.

As to anybody reading this which is profitably grinding micros im looking for a buddy to discuss hands and tactics with, leave a comment if you are interresed.

Good news!

Hello again!

Seams a bit odd to be writing this since I havent got any readers yet and I pretty much have told no one about my blog, however it is still a good pratice to focus my thoughs and to motivate myself. Currently im sitting at my sisters place. I have just finished a session of around 400 hands in poker and currently up since last i blogged. I had a little downswing of around 30$ but quickly recovered with some 4 tableing NL10.

Another positive thing; I just got a new job :). I was thinking depositing 500$ extra and try moving up to NL 25, but we will see how the time progress, currently im just happy doing good at NL10. So here is the last screenshot of my pretty good looking graph

So yeah now im gonna grab a cup of cofee and play my favorite game for relaxing, League of Legends

The Begining

Hello everyone,

This is my new blog which I chose to start as a form of self motivation. Let me start by introducing myself; My name is Martin, im a 23 year old and currently taking a 5 year computer education called "data technician" My blog will mostly be about poker and Starcraft II so let me start by giving some cliffnotes.

Starcraft II
I startet playing Starcraft about a month ago, and as everyone starting a new game I was terrible, now i moved through silver and gold and im currently in platinum, allthough I am still terrible, I have improved. I am getting coaching from a friend of mine who's a really really good zerg. Allthough im playing protoss, his coaching is really helpfull and he is helping me work on my macrogame. Hopefully with his help I will move up in diamond soon.

Poker
In poker I have been doing very well in the micros earlier, running 50$ into 500$ on cake network, but somehow I allways cashout whenever the money start to get fun, maybe its because im a student and, don't have alot of spare cash. So after a long break I currently startet playing again, this time on pokerstars, which I think have a much better skin and is overall just a really really good site. I deposited 30$ and currently I am at 194$. I was around 210$ but had some setbacks with a loosing session which tiltet me, good I stopped in time and just grinded it back another day.
I was thinking to offer some cheap coaching, for people who wanted to start at mircos, but that wont be relevant until I have proven myself worthy of being a coach, so maybe when my 194$ have grown into 1000$ and I have played atleast 100K hands I feel that im worthy of being a coach to somebody.

So this is how its looking at the moment, the first is cashgames and the second is SNG
